Hill-88 is the site of an old country schoolhouse south of Scandia.  To the Pike Valley Cross Country Team members, it is a very steep hill that we use for interval and hill training.

1980 – Cindy Peters – State qualifier

1981 – Carolyn Henriksen, Kirk Johnson – State qualifiers

1999 – Girls 5^th at Regionals - 14 runners

2000 - Kristen Larson State qualifier, placing 26^th.  - 13 runners

2001 – Kristen Larson first repeat State qualifier, placing 27^th.  – 18 runners

Boys team – PTL Champs, Regional Runner-up, 11^th at 2-1A State.  First full team to qualify for State in PVHS history. – 19 runners

2002 – Boys team – PTL Champs, Regional Champs, 5^th at 2-1A State. - 18 runners

2003 – Both teams – PTL Champs, Regional Runners-up, Boys – 6^th at 2-1A State, Girls – 7^th at 2-1A State.  First time both teams qualified for State. – 22 runners

2004 – Both teams – PTL Champs, 1A Regional Champs, Boys – 2^nd at State, Girls – 8^th at State (without our first two runners).  First time both teams won Regional Meets. - 18 runners

2005 – Both teams - PTL Champs, 1A Regional – Boys Champs, Girls Runners-up; Boys 3^rd at State, Girls 6^th at State. - 18 runners

2006 – Both teams – PTL Runners-up, Boys – 1A Regional Champs, Girls 3^rd; Boys – 10^th at State, Girls – 9^th at State. – 18 runners

2007 – Both teams – PTL Champs and Regional Runners-up, Boys – 11^th at State, Girls – 8^th at State. – 15 runners
